Seminar on Drug Use Among the Homeless Population in Ireland
Thursday 14th April 2005
Launch of Report on Drug Use Among the Homeless Population in Ireland. Seminar was held in the Gresham Hotel to disseminate findings. Mr Noel Ahern TD, Minister of State for the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs with responsibility for the National Drugs Strategy opened the proceedings. Caroline Corr and Marie Lawless (MQI) presented the findings. Dr Des Corrigan provided a keynote address on behalf of the NACD. Workshop discussions were facilitated and feedback provided at closing plenary. The NACD intend to make the feedback from these workshops available on the website in due course.
