Repeat General Population Survey of Drug Use 2010/2011
Research brief:
To repeat the 2006/2007 Drug Prevalence Survey in Ireland in order to measure the extent and pattern of drug use in the general population in 2010-2011. The survey is being conducted simultaneously in Ireland and Northern Ireland. In Northern Ireland, the survey is being conducted by the Public Health Information and Research Branch at the Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety.

The Research Ethics Committee of the Faculties of Public Health Medicine & Occupational Medicine at the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland granted ethical approval for the Research Protocol for the General Population Survey of Drug Use on 17th December 2009.
