Ballymun Community Case Study: Experiences and Perceptions of Problem Drug Use
Research brief:
In carrying out research on the Community Study, the contractor was expected to establish a study based on at least three communities who have experienced significant drug problems, one of these being Ballymun. The Ballymun Community Case Study aimed to examine people’s experience of problem drug use in the area and the ways in which they responded to this problem.

Published: November 2006
Dissemination: The report was released in November 2006 and a briefing seminar held to disseminate the findings. 300 copies of the report were printed. A copy went to the Minister of State, Mr Noel Aherne. The publication was circulated to key audiences and stakeholders. Copies are available on the web.
